2nd Lt.(O-2) Samuel Goldberg and two of his subordinates, Specialist (E-4) Miguel Garcia and PFC (E-3) Kevin Jordan are at home in Seattle Washington. They are stationed at Lewis-McChord Joint Base in Seattle Washington. Their unit is the 1st Sepcial Forces Detatchment.
Samuel Goldberg's back story is that he is an Ashkenazi Jew from New York City. He and his parents, siblings, and grandparents lived in Midwood in Brooklyn New York. After graduating from high school Sam enlisted into the US Army and went to basic training at Fort Riley Kansas. He spent eight weeks in basic training and graduated at the rank of Private (E-2) prior to earning his officer's commission and becoming a green beret Sam went to infantry school, airborne school, and pathfinder school at Fort Benning Georgia. He climbed the ranks from Private (E-2), Private First Class (E-3), Specialist (E-4), to Sergeant (E-5) in a period of four years. He went to Officer Canadate School at Fort Benning Georgia for 90 days and earned his officer's commission and was promoted to Second Lieutenant. After earning his officers commission Samuel Goldberg went to John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg for Special Forces Selection and Assessment. He survived a fort night of grueling hell and went on to advanced special forces training. He earned his green beret after over a year of special forces training. Samuel Goldberg is an 18-A officer with the Green Berets.
